Solid Blackbutt timber and 2 Pac traditional kitchen Newcastle
This Newcastle kitchen renovation combines detailed routed 2-pac cabinetry with solid Blackbutt timber to create a warm, custom look with plenty of character. The main cabinetry is finished in 2-pac matched to Polytec Alabaster, using a Tesrol 634-2P3S routed profile. The traditional door detailing adds depth while the soft white finish keeps the kitchen light and balanced. Solid Blackbutt is used throughout the island legs, open shelving and feature joinery, bringing warmth into the space and tying in beautifully with the timber flooring and exposed beams. The timber was finished in Loba 2K Invisible to retain its natural colour and appearance. The benchtops are Quantum Quartz Angelico Palazzo with a matte finish and pencil-round profile, providing a subtle stone surface that complements both the painted cabinetry and Blackbutt features. The result is a practical Newcastle kitchen with a crafted, timeless feel and a strong mix of traditional detailing and natural Australian timber.
