About This Project
Natural Quartzite Kitchen Renovation in Lake Cathie
This Lake Cathie kitchen renovation was designed around the striking natural quartzite used across both the benchtops and full-height splashbacks. The stone is the hero of the space, with natural veining and earthy tones creating a unique finish throughout the kitchen. Using the same quartzite on the work surfaces and splashbacks gives the room a clean, seamless look. The cabinetry is finished in Dulux White Polar Quarter satin 2-pac with an Edinburgh routed profile and pencil-round edges, keeping the joinery light and refined. To add warmth, we included solid Blackbutt floating shelves, which work beautifully against the quartzite and white cabinetry. Dark tapware, handles and the range cooker provide contrast, while the combination of natural stone, Australian timber and painted cabinetry creates a warm, distinctive kitchen with plenty of character.
